🦒📸 How we got this photo...📸🦒

It was the final morning on day 3 of our SS25 photoshoot in the Maasai Mara, Kenya - We call it the ‘Hail Mary Finish’. We had already captured all the main looks we needed, so we set out on a mission to get the ‘wow factor’ shots.

We expected the iconic sunrise moment on safari with wildlife in the background, but instead we woke up to thunder storms, which made this mission very tricky!

However, not everything goes to plan sometimes and you have to adapt. After feeling a little deflated about the situation, frantically trying to find the winner shot whilst keeping the clothes dry and clean, we stumbled across these stunning giraffe in the plains with a misty backdrop over the hills, with a touch of sunshine trying to get through. This actually made for a moody, yet beautiful moment…

The plan was to change into our new beige linen suit, but we didn’t have time. Black jeans and our new Crocodile Green Shirt had to suffice - but wow it was worth it!!! 🤩

The memory of capturing this moment will always be a highlight, with a massive lesson learned… Don’t give up, no matter the situation, as you never know what may come from it!
